Responsibilities
- • Design and implement typed APIs and durable data models
- • Partner with design on accessible, performant interfaces
- • Write decision records and keep runbooks current
- • Mentor engineers through thoughtful review
- • Own production signals for what you ship
Required skills
- • Strong TypeScript and modern React/Next.js
- • Relational modelling and SQL fluency
- • Testing discipline (unit, integration, e2e where it pays)
- • Clear written communication
Preferred skills
- • PostgreSQL at scale
- • Azure or AWS delivery
- • Public-sector or regulated domain experience
What success looks like
You ship vertical slices with tests, docs, and monitoring; architecture decisions are written down; teammates can extend your work without archaeology.
